The Jazz Session is an online show focusing on in-depth interviews with jazz musicians. The show is hosted by Jason Crane, a saxophone player, radio host, commentator and one of the finest interviewers in jazz today. His unique view of jazz from many different angles allows him to speak to the musicians with authority and put them at ease. He’s interviewed the likes of Sonny Rollins, Terence Blanchard, Darcy James Argue, Matt Wilson, Sam Rivers, Vijay Iyer and many, many more.

Needless to say I was thrilled when Jason emailed me a few weeks ago and said he’d like to interview me. We talked on the phone a while back and he’s put the show up on the site today. You can check out the interview here.
