As you can imagine, the financial realities of touring a jazz band are pretty grim. Most of the shows we’ll play are door gigs with little possibility of earning us a decent wage. Sure, I hope to sell a good number of CD’s along the way, but even if we sell a ton it’d be hard to cover our expenses.
So I’m asking for all the help I can get in the form of a Micropatronage Program. Follow that link to see what I mean.
So, off we go!
We’ll be playing tunes from our latest CD, “No More, No Less”, and debuting some new material as well.
Itinerary:
May 06 – The Jazz Station, Eugene, OR
May 07 – Six Rivers Brewery, McKinleyville, CA
May 08 – The Beta Lounge, Berkeley, CA
May 10 – Master Class at CSUB, Bakersfield, CA
May 12 – Dizzy’s, San Diego, CA
May 14 – Private Event, Palm Springs, CA
May 16 – Angelica’s Bistro, Redwood City, CA
May 17 – Tease, Ashland, OR
May 18 – Mississippi Pizza, Portland, OR
May 21 – Lucid Jazz Lounge, Seattle, WA
Rest assured I’ll be blogging from the road with stories, audio and video of our travels. If you can make it to any of the gigs it’d be great to see friends old and new!
When will you come to Los Angeles?
hey, man.
i know it’s a bit out of the way, but i could totally line up a really good show in salt lake city if you wanted to come out this way.
maybe next time?
shoot me an email if you want.

Just found out tonight… Congrats on your first ‘Jason Parker Quartet’ Tour!
Btw, I am thoroughly enjoying my “No More, No Less” Album – there are going to be a lot of inspired, satisfied individuals in your wake (or should I say ‘exhaust trail’ since you’re traveling via bus?lol.) on this JPQ tour! This is very exciting!
All the best on the road, and safe travels!
