Idea #1 for the Nick Drake CD Cover

In a classic cart-before-the-horse moment, Darrah and I were playing around with ideas for the Nick Drake Tribute Project CD cover yesterday, before the music is even recorded!

I was inspired by Michele Khazak’s beautiful paintings that she did expressly for this project (which can be yours for a pledge of $250). They capture the mood of the music so beautifully, and I thought it might be cool to use one for the cover. Darrah, my resident Photoshop expert, helped with the layout.
