The 100 CD’s Project began on October 20, 2009 as an experiment in getting my new CD out into the world. You can see all the posts relating to the project here.

CD #27: MV Puyallup

CD #24: MV Puyallup

Another one of my 100 CD’s Project CD’s has been found, and this one made it into the hands of a jazz lover! It’s so cool to open my inbox and see these replies! Makes me feel like my little experiment is working.

This one is one of the CD’s I left on the ferry that runs from Edmonds to Kingston, WA, on the way to Port Townsend for my Water Babies gig the other night. I’ve been half expecting someone from Homeland Security to knock on my door and reprimand me for leaving the discs on the ferry, so I was very glad to get Erick’s email.

What the ?????

What the ?????

It’s funny, because I saw the group of folks who sat down at the booth where I left the CD, and thought they had completely dismissed it. I was even able to snap this photo (from the hip, I might add) of them checking it out in confusion! Much to my delight, Erick decided to take the CD with him, and was nice enough to send me this email today:

Jason – Friday afternoon heading toward Kingston on the 3:45 ferry I found CD 24 in the booth we were sitting at. What a great surprise! I’ve listened to it all weekend and I’m hooked. Wife and family enjoying it as well. What a great way to spread your music. I found it with some guys I work with, and I was first to get it for a listen. I’ll be passing it around to others I work with, so the CD should see some mileage. Anyway I checked out your website and hope to see you live sometime in Seattle.

Thanks Again,

Erick

Thanks, Erick! I’m so glad that you and your family are diggin’ the record, and that you’ll be passing it on to your co-workers. If you get any response please check back in, or send them here to leave a comment.
