Thanks to my friend Brandi and my dear mother, the 100 CD’s Project branched out to Chicago and Houston this past week! The new Jason Parker Quartet CD “No More, No Less” will soon find homes across the globe thanks to my wonderful accomplices.
Brandi found the time to place CD’s all over Chicago even though she is about 8.99 months pregnant and about to pop out a baby at any moment! She found some very nice spots:
What a great view of the famed Water Tower Pumping Station! This is the home of David Schwimmer’s theater (Ross from Friends). Maybe he’ll pick it up!
Where Brandi is going to have her baby!!
Brandi wrote, “I couldn’t leave CD’s all over town and not include a bagel shop.” You know me well, my friend…
My mother, who art in Houston, found some great places to leave the CD as well:
I love that my CD ended up at the Menil, one of the coolest museums around. And that’s my Mama in the reflection!
Here’s hoping the JPQ gains some new fans in Chicago and Houston! I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks so much to Brandi and my Mom for being accomplices and helping out! Still to come: New York, Philadelphia, Dallas, Cleveland, Copenhagen, Munich and Reykjavik!
Thanks for including us in the project! It felt so illicit and delightful all at once!
I hope the cds find homes as great as the music on them!
Hey Jason!
I found #55! It was sitting just like the picture above in the Broch pavilion! I am a musician myself and it was awesome to see your vision in action. Love the album! The Jazzy feel is pure and simple goodness.
