Full-TourwebIt’s finally here! The Jason Parker Quartet West Coast Tour starts in one week! We’ll be leaving on May 6th to travel the highways and byways of the West Coast, from Seattle to San Diego and back.

This is a big new adventure for us and we’re putting it all on the line to make this tour happen. There are 3 significant ways you can help us ensure that the tour is a great success:

  1. Come to a show! If you live in or near one of the towns we’ll be playing, please come out to see us play. The most expensive cover charge on the tour is $10, and some of the shows are free. We’d love to see you and as many friends as you can bring with you! Our Redwood City and San Diego shows are the biggest rooms, and we need all the help we can get to fill them up!
  2. Tell a friend! Whether or not you live near one of our shows, I’d love it if you could alert any and all friends and family that do live nearby that we’ll be coming through town. Word-of-mouth is the best promotion a band can get, and a couple of kind words from you would help mobilize people to come out. Send a Facebook update, Tweet about it…heck, you could even go old-school and phone a friend! Again, any help with Redwood City and San Diego is most apprecaited.
  3. Become a Micropatron! I have developed a Micropatronage Program that allows you to help us cover the costs of touring, which are not small! From musician pay to van rental to hotel rooms and gas along the way, the bills are high and continuing to mount. It’s difficult for me to ask for your hard-earned money, but even if you can only afford $5 or $10, believe me it’ll help! Think of it as a tank of gas or a warm bed for a night… But most importantly, you will be helping us live out our dream of becoming a touring band!

I can’t tell you how excited I am that this dream is becoming a reality! I wasn’t sure I’d be able to figure out a way to tour this amazing band, but I knew if I kept at it, a solution would present itself. Now we get to take our show on the road and play our music in new and exciting places.

Thank you for your support! Please check out the full tour itinerary below, and if you live anywhere near one of our stops, I hope you’ll come out to see us!

Now, see, if we were still in Eureka, we could have come to see the show in McKinleyville – the Six Rivers is a great venue. Maybe some day you’ll book at the Galway Bay in Ocean Shores – a warm and friendly place with a loyal clientele. Then we’ll definitely come to see you. Best of luck (though you won’t need it – you’ve got talent!) on the tour.
