Hi Jason, just fell into your site. Happy accident. Your "No More, No Less" is most mellow ... nice feel. I was very much involved in the Seattle music scene from 1960 - 1983, which is when I moved back to Toronto. Played everything out there from Seattle's Olympic Hotel Marine Room to Bellevue's Gaslamp, where I was a regular for more than a few years. Always was impressed with the jazzers in the area and am glad to see dudes like you and your peers carrying the banner.

Keep On Blowin'

Hi Jason:

I just read your comments on the Digital Musics Article and it brought me to your page - very fortuitous! Not only did I agree with everything you said, it led me to your page to find some great stuff. You truly deserve the success you have (and earned!)

peace & love,

Great site Jason. What an inspiration to those up and coming freelancers. I freelanced for 12 years in London. I really miss the 'hustling' for work but am currently gainfully employed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Wish everyone the best of luck finding a full diary of work.
The freelance trumpeters 'mantra' in London used to be, "...Art for Arts's sake. Money, for God's sake!"

Hi Jason. Say, I stumbled upon your blog because I was trying to find some more Jazz blogs out there. I think it is really cool what you are doing. I myself am TRYING to make a living being a musician. I am a drummer in Chicago, and I just got interested in blogging about Jazz and whatnot. I have been hitting up a lot of the jams and meeting some people, but it still seems really slow yknow? Maybe its the economy or something? anyway, Your web site is really cool, and you give inspiration to me. Good luck with life man.
