The 100 CD’s Project began on October 20, 2009 as an experiment in getting my new CD out into the world. You can see all the posts relating to the project here.

My friend Max dropped 5 of my CD’s in Copenhagen last week. He trekked out in the snow to leave them all around town. This morning I awoke to an email from Erika, who found CD #69. And what’s more, she found it on her birthday!

Here is the note an picture that she sent me:

Happy Birthday Erika!

Happy Birthday Erika!

“Hi Jason,

I am Erika from Hungary. I spent a few days in Copenhagen in February and imagine what happened!? 🙂 I found one of your CD’s 🙂 It was behind that statue where the girl tries to convince the boy…I was very happy to found it (besides on that day was my birthday). I like your idea very much. Your letter was fantastic and your music is very good, too. I hope you don’t mind if I popularize your music in Hungary:-)))

-Erika”

By all means, Erika, please spread the word about the JPQ in Hungary! Find us a jazz club and we’ll be there!!

Jason,

I love this idea… glad Erika found your CD in snowy Denmark this week!

Hope all’s well on the west coast… I’m normally in Brooklyn but am teaching music in Quito, Ecuador for a few weeks!

Elizabeth
